Commissions are calculated using a CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) model. You can earn commission by referring customers through your tracking link when they purchase a challenge. The commission amount will vary based on the challenge purchased.

What are the requirements to become an affiliate partner?

There are initial requirements you need to meet before you can become an Affiliate.

To become an Affiliate, you must belong to any of these categories:

• Traders
• Trading Schools and Academies
• Bloggers
• Trading Signals Providers
• Website Owners
• Expert Advisors (EA)
• Forum Owners
• Investment Advisors
• YouTubers
• Social Media Influencers
• Online Marketers

Your traffic source content must be:

• Fair
• Balanced
• Not misleading
• Not provide any trading advice
• Targeted at an audience that's appropriate for us - Finance/ prop trading-related.
• The target audience should be a resident of the countries listed here. For more information on our target audience please refer to our Marketing Guidelines.

After submitting your application, you'll receive an email requesting additional information about your promotional strategy for OANDA Prop Trader. Please reply to this email with your answer. A partner manager will review your application. If you meet the necessary criteria, a partner manager will start the onboarding process, it can take up to 48 hours to complete the onboarding process and get approved.

Yes, for regulatory reasons, you can only promote OANDA Prop Trader in the countries listed on the country list here.

You’ll find all marketing assets and tracking links in your partner account.

• Marketing assets are under marketing tools
• You can filter all promotional materials by type, language, size and name
• To use the materials, simply click on the one you want, then select ‘Get HTML code/URL link’ and copy the text
• Your tracking link is under marketing tools > default link

We offer a dedicated partner manager to each of our affiliates. Your partner manager can advise on the best converting marketing tools based on your needs. They can explain the features of our platform, including the dashboard and performance reports and answer any questions you may have.

Your Partner manager will have monthly check-ins to discuss the month's performance and offer suggestions on how to improve conversions and attract more clients.

No, you cannot customise marketing material provided by OANDA. The material provided has been approved by internal teams to ensure it is compliant.

Yes, you can create your own marketing materials however you should ensure that you follow our marketing guidelines and the materials should be approved by internal teams before publishing. Your partner manager will be able to provide you with more details on this.

We pay commissions on a monthly basis, in the month after it was generated. We aim to pay within 20 days from month end. If your commission balance is below US$250 in a particular month, we’ll carry it over to the next month’s balance.

You can receive your affiliate commissions via bank transfer or Skrill.

There could be a number of reasons for your payment to not be processed:

• Your bank details are not up to date or correct, please ensure they are updated.
• The minimum threshold (US$250) has not been met and payment will therefore roll over to the next month’s payment.
• There may have been a problem with sending the payment to your account. If this is the case, your partnership manager will be in touch to discuss.

As soon as we’ve approved your partner account, you’ll find a range of reports tracking your performance. These include the number of clicks, registrations, first-time deposits (FTD), commissions and more. You can tweak and define the criteria, like timeframes and countries to fine tune your data.

Ensure your referrals are using the tracking link provided within your partner account. For Affiliates, we advise you to click the embedded link on your website/ banners and create a test account, you should see this registration in your partner account within 24 hours. This will help you identify if there are any problems which you can then highlight to your partner manager to further investigate.

It’s important that your referred customers use your unique tracking link when registering or purchasing a challenge. This ensures you are paid a commission for your referral. We encourage you to guide your referrals to prevent any discrepancies.

Yes, there are no restrictions on the number of affiliate programs you can promote.
